Chelsea Clinton is an advocate, storyteller, investor, mentor, teacher, and most importantly, mom to her three kids. As vice chair of the Clinton Foundation, Chelsea works alongside the Foundation’s leadership and partners to improve global health and wellness, increase opportunity for girls and women, create economic opportunity and growth, and inspire emerging leaders across the United States and around the world. A longtime public health advocate, Chelsea also serves as vice chair of the Clinton Health Access Initiative and uses her platform to increase awareness around issues such as vaccine hesitancy, childhood obesity, and health equity. In addition to her Foundation work, Chelsea is the co-founder of Metrodora Ventures, she teaches at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and has written several books for young adults and readers including the #1 New York Times bestselling She Persisted. Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford, a Master of Public Health from Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health, and both a Master of Philosophy and a Doctorate in international relations from Oxford University.

Condoleezza Rice is the Tad and Dianne Taube Director of the Hoover Institution and a Senior Fellow on Public Policy. She is the Denning Professor in Global Business and the Economy at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. In addition, she is a founding partner of Rice, Hadley, Gates & Manuel LLC, an international strategic consulting firm. From January 2005 to January 2009, Rice served as the 66th U.S. Secretary of State, the second woman and first black woman to hold the post. Rice also served as President George W. Bush’s National Security Advisor from January 2001 to January 2005, the first woman to hold the position. From February 1989 through March 1991, Rice served on President George H. W. Bush’s National Security Council staff. Rice served as Stanford University’s provost from 1993 to 1999. As Professor of Political Science, she has been on the Stanford faculty since 1981 and has won two of the university’s highest teaching honors. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Rice earned her bachelor’s degree in political science, cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Denver; her master’s in the same subject from the University of Notre Dame; and her Ph.D., likewise in political science, from the Graduate School of International Studies at the University of Denver.

Stefan Bertozzi, MD, PhD, Professor of Health Policy and Management
Dr. Stefano M. Bertozzi is former dean and professor of health policy and management at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health. Previously, he directed the HIV and tuberculosis programs at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Dr. Bertozzi worked at the Mexican National Institute of Public Health as director of its Center for Evaluation Research and Surveys. He was the last director of the WHO Global Programme on AIDS and has also held positions with UNAIDS, the World Bank and the government of the DRC. Bertozzi is the founding editor-in-chief of Rapid Reviews Infectious Diseases (RRID), an open access, rapid-review overlay journal for the accelerated curation and peer review of infectious disease-related research.
Joseph Dieleman, PhD, Professor of Health Metric Sciences
Dieleman is a professor of health metric sciences at the University of Washington and leads the resource tracking research team at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME). His team estimates healthcare spending by disease, tracks development assistance for health spending, and projects healthcare expenditures. They use novel methods to estimate healthcare value, cost of illness, and poverty rates, aiming to provide policymakers with data that promotes health equity and outcomes while managing costs.
Jennifer Kates, PhD, Senior VP and Director of the Global and Public Health Policy Program at KFF
Kates oversees KFF policy analysis and research focused on the U.S. government’s role in global health and on the global and domestic HIV epidemics. She also helps lead KFF’s work on public health issues, including on vaccine policy. Widely regarded as an expert in the field, she regularly publishes and presents on global health and HIV policy issues and is particularly known for her work analyzing donor government investments in global health; assessing and mapping the U.S. government’s global health architecture, programs, and funding; and tracking and analyzing major U.S. HIV programs and financing, and key trends in the HIV epidemic—an area she has been working in for close to 30 years.
Mamphela Ramphele, PhD, Co-Founder and Advisor, ReimagineSA
Ramphele is a medical doctor, activist, academic, businesswoman, and thought leader. She was co-president of the Club of Rome from October 2018 until end of term in November 2023. Ramphele is the co-founder and global brand ambassador of ReimagineSA, a South African nonprofit that focuses on addressing social and economic issues through community engagement and empowerment initiatives. Previously, she served as a managing director at the World Bank from 2000 to 2004 and as vice chancellor of the University of Cape Town, South Africa, from 1996 to 2000. The social anthropologist is an author and recipient of many awards, including 24 honorary degrees.
