Biography

Sarah Kim is a postdoctoral scholar in Health Policy. She completed her PhD in Economics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her prior research has focused on the intersection of health and political economy, exploring the impacts of controversial health policy introductions on voter participation. Broadly, she is interested in applying causal inference methodologies to health settings, including population health and epidemiology. She is also passionate about understanding social determinants of health and exploring policies that can reduce health disparities and improve health literacy across different socioeconomic groups.
