Biography

Natalia Khoudian is a first year Health Policy (Health Economics) PhD student at Stanford University. Her research interests include healthcare access & utilization, social determinants of health, provider characteristics & behaviors, and health insurance design. 

Before Stanford, Natalia was a management consultant at BCG, where she worked with clients across the private and public sectors, including supporting US state health agencies in COVID vaccine distribution and in strategic planning. Prior to this, Natalia was a pre-doctoral research fellow at Stanford working under Professor Maria Polyakova studying the impact of government interventions on health system efficiency using large-scale Medicaid and administrative tax data. Natalia holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Mathematics from Amherst College.
