Biography

Claudia Seguin is a data analyst and software developer in the Department of Health Policy at Stanford University School of Medicine, where she collaborates on research led by Dr. Fernando Alarid-Escudero. She earned her B.A. in Mathematics from Providence College. Before joining Stanford, she worked at Massachusetts General Hospital and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, contributing to research in labs led by Dr. Pari Pandharipande and Dr. Amy Knudsen. Her work has focused on decision modeling to inform specific radiology management strategies, cost-effectiveness analyses, and population-based cancer screening efforts in both U.S. and international settings. Her team’s research helps inform a wide range of decisions related to cancer prevention and treatment, with a particular focus on colorectal, ovarian, and pancreatic cancers.
