Grant Miller, associate professor of medicine, has been working to help residents of a state in India access micro nutrients that they are lacking. The work, which involves a fortified rice, includes several Indian ministries, non-profit organizations, and faculty from across Stanford campus to assess and support the collaborative effort. He says the collaborative community and institutes at Stanford help projects like this succeed.
