Sara Singer, PhD, MBA, gives Department of Medicine Grand Rounds, presenting an overview of the challenges inherent in highly diverse, interdisciplinary teams and how to build, sustain and guide teams toward success.

“Team science meets today’s needs, so there are increasingly questions worth answering today; those that are big and complex, and that’s particularly true in the realm of clinical research,” she says.

Singer, a professor of health policy and of medicine, highlights the department’s Team Science initiative, which is tackling large-scale scientific questions across the translational spectrum.
