Nathan Lo, MD PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Infectious Diseases and a physician-scientist. His research group studies the transmission of infectious diseases and impact of public health interventions to inform policy aimed at controlling and eliminating these diseases. Nathan’s interest spans across multiple infectious diseases, both domestically and internationally, with a focus on vaccine-preventable infections (such as measles and COVID-19) and neglected global infectious diseases (such as schistosomiasis and typhoid fever). His research blends diverse computational methodologies, including tools from infectious disease epidemiology and mathematical modeling. He is a practicing infectious diseases physician.
