Charlotte J. Haug is the international correspondent for the New England Journal of Medicine, a senior researcher at SINTEF Health and Welfare, and an adjunct affiliate at Stanford Health Policy. She participates in and supervises research and innovation projects in health-care delivery, and writes, speaks and consults on innovations in health care, scholarly communication, and scientific publishing. She is an MD, PhD from the University of Oslo, Norway, specializing in infectious diseases and immunology, and has a master's degree in health services research from Stanford University.
