Research Interests

Global health interventions, design of health insurance markets, behavioral constraints on healthcare decision-making, interventions to improve efficiency in health care delivery.


Sasha is currently working as a research assistant for Dr. David Chan and Professor Maria Polyakova. His current project studies potential moral hazard issues in Medicare policy. Prior to working at HRP, Sasha completed the MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford. He has previous work experience in both healthcare and development research, as well as experience in consulting on global development projects.  Sasha graduated in 2012 from NYU majoring in the Political Economy of Development while completing premedical requirements.
