International Security. Global health. Economic development. They are essential for a safer, more peaceful world. And they all hinge on good governance. Scholars with the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies conduct fieldwork in some of the world's most unstable places and collaborate with colleagues across the Stanford University campus to develop a deeper understanding of what it takes to make a government work well.
