Eric Schmidt joined CHP/PCOR and Ci2i after completing his PhD in clinical psychology at Palo Alto University, where he studied diversity and community mental health.  He trained clinically in health psychology through practica in integrated care settings, such as primary care-behavioral health at the Palo Alto VA, and he completed a pre-doctoral residency in clinical health psychology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.  Eric worked previously at CHP/PCOR assisting in the development and validation of health care quality indicators.  He has research interests in the effects of mental health care on medical outcomes, measuring the quality of health care when medical and mental health conditions are comorbid, and schedules of reinforcement in the context of health care performance improvement.  Clinically, Eric is interested in behavioral medicine and evidence-based treatment for clinically complex individuals.
